1972: Jack McKee (the future Mike Murphy) — overnights, then nights, as one of “The Country Gentlemen” on KBER San Antonio AM/FM.” KBER was owned by A.V. Bamford, a concert promoter and Hank Williams Sr.’s former manager. It was AM and FM during the day. Only FM at night.
